Copper Moon Creative was formed in 2002 by Cheryl Chancellor and Dena White, who met in 1999 while working together in higher education. Both opted to pursue freelance careers in 2000, often partnering to better meet client needs. They formed Copper Moon Creative to offer clients their combined talents under a single name.
Cheryl returned to her native New Orleans in 2003 and now operates Copper Moon independently.
Cheryl is an experienced multimedia designer whose clients have included North Carolina State University's Distance Education unit, Bioinformatics Research Center, Department of Entomology, and Division of Undergraduate Affairs; non-profits such as the NC Triangle chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and its original special interest group, FIND; individuals such as the Mayor of Raleigh, Charles Meeker; and various companies large and small, including Torch Offshore, Relle Companies, and Preferred Accounting Services.
She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama and has completed
certificate (non-degree) programs in multimedia and computer animation.
She has taught multimedia courses to postsecondary students and conducted
training sessions for several corporations, including IBM and Torch Offshore.
Cheryl also completed a minor in English with a focus on writing as part
of her undergraduate degree.
